ARLINGTON, Va. - (From left to right) Secretary of the Army Hon. Dan Driscoll, Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Randy George, Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Weimer, and Joint Task Force - National Capital Region and U.S. Army Military District of Washington Commanding General Maj. Gen. Trevor J. Bredenkamp walk through the State and Territorial Cordon at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, Saturday, June 14, 2025. All were at ANC to participate in an Army Full Honors Wreath-Laying Ceremony in honor of the Army’s 250th birthday. Since its establishment in 1775, U.S. Army Soldiers, families, and Army Civilians have supported our nation, bearing true faith and allegiance to the country. One year older than the nation it defends, the U.S. Army has dedicated itself to fighting and winning the nation’s wars for 250 years. This we’ll defend.
