Aerial images of Dikes 4, 5, and 6 at Folsom Lake, Calif., Jan. 24, 2022. The Folsom Dam Raise project includes raising eight dikes, the left and right wing dams, Mormon Island Auxiliary Dam 3.5 feet, including structural upgrades to the main dam to reduce flood risk for the greater Sacramento area by increasing the temporary storage capacity of Folsom Lake by approximately 28,000 acre-feet.
