WASHINGTON, D.C. - Mike Wagner (left), former division chief of national events planning for Joint Task Force - National Capital Region/U.S. Army Military District of Washington receives a folded flag, which was flown over the United States Capitol, during a farewell reception in Washington, D.C., March 8, 2024. The reception was in honor of Wagner and Jim Laufenburg, former director of the ceremonies and outreach division. Together, they combined for nearly 85 years of service to the Army and Joint force.
