NEW ORLEANS, La. - Cpl. Silas Clayton and Lance Cpl. Justin Levere, Marine Barracks Washington, spoke to students at the New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy on February 6, 2025, in New Orleans. The Marines and other members of the Joint Armed Forces Color Guard spoke at several high schools in the area. The Joint Armed Forces Color Guard and drummers from The U.S. Air Force Band were in New Orleans to present the colors before Super Bowl LIX where the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Kansas City Chiefs on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
