Command Sergeant Major Adolfo Dominguez is Command Sergeant Major of the 4th Battalion, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, Virginia. Command Sgt. Maj. Dominguez hails from Torrance, California, and enlisted in the United States Army in May 2001 as an Infantryman. He completed One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Command Sgt. Maj. Dominguez's most recent assignments are The Old Guard Operations Sergeant Major, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), Fort Myer, Virginia, Operations Sergeant Major for 2-69 AR, 3D IN DIV, and Class 71 United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. Command Sgt. Maj. Dominguez has held positions as an Operations Sergeant Major, Assistant Inspector General, First Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, and Team Leader.

His stateside assignments include Fort Myer, Virginia; Fort Stewart, Georgia; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Fort Dix, New Jersey; Fort Cavazos, Texas; Fort Polk, Louisiana; Fort Richardson, Alaska, and Fort Liberty, North Carolina. He deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom I & II and Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I, III, V, VI, VII and XI. 

Command Sgt. Maj. Dominguez’s military education includes the Basic Military Parachute Course, Air Assault Course, Jump Master Course, Inspector General School, Stryker Leaders Course, Visual Tracker Course, Instructor Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Observer Controller Course, Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leader Course, and the U.S. Army Sergeant Major Academy Class 71.  CSM Dominguez has an associate degree in general studies and bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies.

Command Sgt. Maj. Command Sgt. Maj. Dominguez is married to Mrs. Barbara Dominguez, and they have a combined family of six children: Victoria, Isabel, Isabella, Emma, Eleanah, and Matthew.
