PHILADELPHIA - The U.S. Army Field Band helps celebrate the U.S. Army’s 248th birthday and Flag Day June 14 in Philadelphia, the city where both the Army and the nation were created. The day’s events were highlighted by an Army birthday celebration outside Independence Hall, a naturalization ceremony for 14 new U.S. citizens at the Betsy Ross House, and a parade from the National Constitution Center to Independence Hall.
