ARLINGTON, Va. - A ceremonial SIG SAUER P320 M17 9mm pistol, is shown with “Peace” engraved on the 21-round magazine aluminum base plate and 4th Battalion, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) crest, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., Dec. 11, 2025. The four custom pistols, named Silence, Respect, Dignity, and Perseverance, feature symbolic engravings, materials and design elements that reflect the values, history and traditions of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Tomb Guard Sentinels of the The Old Guard.
